Oh these boys~ they sure are wild!! Sometimes I wonder why I have such wild and crazy boys and then I remember that I am 50%VanOostendorp!! Well the boys both have derma-bonded foreheads! A few days ago Brian got off of work while the sun was still out. We were so excited that we headed for the park with a pizza. About 10 minutes later Brian comes running towards us with his head gushing! He had hit his head on the play set. Brian went and got supplies and fixed him all up. That was convenient! Then a few days later Ben fell and hit the corner
of the wall and sliced his head open. I was all prepared to go to the Emergency room (it was a bad one) and so I called Brian (hysterical of course) and he was home within 5 minutes. Ben was such a good sport through it all. I wanted to make sure he wouldn't scar. I teased Brian and said that I especially don't want Ben to scar if he takes after his father in the hair category! It was kind of funny because sometimes its just wierd to me that this is the kind of stuff that he does for work. I kept asking if we should have one of the er drs stitch him up. He reassured me that he does a lot more stitches than an er doc! I guess being married to a surgeon does have it's perks!

Poor kids!! Maybe I don't want another boy!! I'm just remembering all the huge bumps and bruises that Bartel always had on his forehead, I was always so embarrassed to take him anywhere, and worried that people would think I beat him!!
oh cute, that is so sad! Give um kisses
Very convinient having a surgeon for a husband, I agree! Especially when you have a rambunctious child like Brian:)
