Funny Brian

Showing his muscles with Sebastian, a neighbor friend.

This little boy of mine says the funniest things. Just this morning here are some:

1. "Mom we have to go to the gym, my friends are all missing me."

2. "I am of Child of Ice Cream"

3. Driving..."mom where are we going?" "to the fabric store Brian" his reply whiny and sad

"the fabric store hurts my feelings."

Whenever he doesn't like something he says it is hurting his feelings!

Memorial Weekend

Loving his Chocolate Covered Sunflower seeds!
She did awesome. We had a few big hills and she just kept going and going!
My new bike-even Brian is jealous.
All geared up and ready to ride
Ben is not so sure about this situation. I would be scared too!

We had a really great weekend. Brian was technically supposed to work but it worked out that he got the weekend off and Monday too because he had worked a lot of weekends up to that point. Hooray for that! On Saturday we went and bought a bike trailer, bike rack and a new bike for me. Then we went up to a bike trail and rode around for a few hours. It was so fun. Thanks to cycling at the gym every T and Th I was totally up for it! The weather was a nice 70 degrees and the kids had a really good time. Brian is such a good sport. This biking stuff is a lot of work for the guys. Not only do they have to pay for it all (heehee) but it's a lot of work to get all the bikes working properly (he is such a pro at that), and then all loaded up into the car. Sometimes (oh no wait a minute)-all the time I am glad that I am a girl! Well I guess I can't say that there are those days that I wish I was the one going to work and getting a break from the kids...but definantly not his work-eeew! Bones aren't my thing, I guess.

Ben loves food!

Here is Brian making the cookies! Don't worry I wasn't feeding my baby junk, they were healthy cookies made with Wheaties and cottage cheese. Brian Sr. said these cookies should be negative calories. I think that meant that he didn't like them.
MMMMM Ben loved them!

Happy and Full, like always!

Benjamin Michael

We all love Ben so much. He is such a sweet and happy baby. We all just cannot get enough of him. He is getting so chunky and it is so cute. He has a tooth, yep just one. The kid LOVES to eat. He eats about as much as Brianna does. He can throw down (daddy's term) a whole package of easy mac, a entire grilled cheese sandwich and 2 eggo waffles (not in the same sitting of course...). I think he is going to be just as big as his crazy older brother! Football here we come!

BFF

My kids love their friends. It is pretty darn cute. In fact today Brian woke up and said "mom, we've got to get to the gym, my friends are missing me." Our two really good friends are the Phui's and the Willsey's (both west coast people--we stick together, heehee)!

Amish Ice Cream

One thing we have loved about Pennsylvania is the yummy ice cream! It's not generic. It's yummy, original, and fresh. At some places you can see the cows in the field, that is how fresh it is! Our favorite is the Amish Ice Cream we drive 40 minutes for it! Our favorite flavors are butter brickle and peanut butter swirl! YUM!! We love to take visitors out to the Amish, so come and visit us and taste for yourself the yummyness! Brian thoroughly enjoys it, as you can see!

New York City

We found Superman hanging out near Seaport Village!
Ground Zero Fire Department
Central Park
Brian and Kristie in front of Rockefeller Center

One of our adventures for the week Kristie was here, was taking the 160 mile trip to NYC. We had a great time. We left Ben and Brian in Harrisburg so we were able to go stroller-less (hooray for that...thanks again Lauren)! We went to Times Square, American Girl Store, Rockefeller Center,Ground Zero, Seaport Village, Saw the Statue of Liberty, shopped Canal St, ate in China Town, walked Central Park, ate at GOOD (yummy, highly recomended), and then Magnolia's Bakery. It was funny because Brian really couldn't understand why we were walking so far just to go to a Bakery. It was SO worth the walk! We had anticipated some rain but there was none and the weather was beautiful! It was fun to spend the day just with Brianna. All the walking was pretty hard and she was such a good sport. At one point Brian had her on his back and his back pack on his front!

Selfish little 3 year olds!

My little Brian is such a stinker. Ben had a blankie and his burp rag with him in his car seat and after driving for a little we noticed that Brian was nice and comfy with Ben's stuff!

Mother's Day 2008

We recently had a visit from Brian's sister Kristie. We had a great time. We were super busy everyday. It was great to have her here on Mother's Day because she kept telling Brian he needed to serve me. Aren't Sister in Laws the best? Anyway, on Mother's Day we went to an Italian Lake and walked around for a while.

My good excuses for not blogging!

I hope I haven't lost all of my blogging friends due to my slacking on recent posts. The last comment from my sister Jenna made me realize I needed to get back on. Here are the things that have been keeping my extrememly busy these last few weeks!

TADA! I painted my bathroom finally. It's not quite done yet. I will post final pics of my room when it is completely finished. It was actually a fun painting job because I hired a babysitter one day for like 7 hours and got it all done with no interruptions. Since I tend to worry, I even turned up music so I couldn't here what was going on down there!

TADA #2 I wallpapered my sitting room! I am working on all the curtains right now. HOUSEWORK!!! Yes, Randi---my laundy does pile up and get unattended to!
KIDS!!! Oh my goodness the things we do as mothers! This is on the side of the freeway a few days ago. He was falling asleep and he loves to pee when he is asleep so we had to pull over. I started to put him down on the ground and realized he had no shoes on so he had to stand on the running boards!
