Hilton Head

While we were in Atlanta we took a week and went to Hilton Head Island. IT WAS SO AMAZING! We really enjoyed the kids and it was so relaxing. This is us at the Salty Dog Cafe. On our dolphin cruise...we took a cruise to a island and then spent the day there. Brianna and Brian's favorite part was learning how to drive the golf cart all by themselves.

We found tons of starfish and sand dollars every day. The ocean was very warm and calm and we just loved playing in the ocean all day.

Ben loved his snacks while we were beaching it. Look at the sand...it is so wierd. It is firm..so firm that we rode our bikes right on the beach.

Back in Atlanta...Brian playing legos with the kids.

Arizona fun!

Ben asleep on the airplane. You have NO idea how hard it is to get him to this point.
The kids loving the airport. Our flight was delayed several hours. A 2 hour layover turned into a 5 hour layover...fun...fun! We just kept eating and eating and eating to fill the time. It was bad.

Being silly in Grandma's car.

Alison and I at Tia Rosa's.

The kids played in a splash area outside a restaurant we were eating at. You know how it goes...they put there feet in and then all the sudden they are fully emerged and soaking wet. Here is Chloe and Brianna and Ben in the background.

More of San Diego

Uncle Michael taught Brian how to surf...you can tell Brian didn't like the taste of salt water.
Aunt Cheri, me and Jenna. It was so fun to have Aunt Cheri join us for a few days. She always makes things more fun!

Grandma and Grandpa

Our campsite was the hangout...we weren't sure we liked it.

The bus that won all the attention with the kiddos.

San Diego

Another summer adventure was going to San Diego with my Mom and Dad. Although it is a little stressful crashing in on my parents we had a really good time. They are so sweet to let us stay with them. We went to the beach several times and did a lot of visiting. Pretty much my moms whole family was there and we were all camped next to each other. This is Michael and I just chilling at the campsite. It was so fun to have Michael and Heather come. Michael was super popular because he brought his vw bus. The kids WOULD NOT leave him alone! Ben throwing a tantrum in the sand! That'll teach him!

Hanging out talking in the motorhome! Mom, me and Jenna...so fun!

Jenna giving the kids candy while we are in the wee hours of the morning. We were all still in bed with our jammies on! No wonder she is the favorite Aunt!

Brooklyn putting mascara on Brianna.

My week in Atlanta

While we were in Arizona for the month of July my mom watched the kids so that I could fly out and see Brian. It was the best. We hadn't seen each other for several weeks so we had really missed each other. We went to Alabama over the weekend and toured his mission (hmmm where are those pics??) I will do another post of those. We went to Stone Mountain Park one day and it was like we were dating (it's an amusement park). We also went to awesome restaurants in Atlanta like Bones, Nava and Flying Biscuit. One day we enjoyed massages and another day we slept in until ten! Thanks Mom! You are the best! Brian loved this guys hair do!
Me looking lame. We were on top of the mountain. We took a cable car up there.

Brian looking so serious!

Looking out over Atlanta...I love that city!

Visiting the McWhorters

The kids always love Aunt Shannon and Uncle Dale's. Probably because Dale is such a charachter! You can tell Brian is really into it.

I love Alison! It was so fun to see her adorable house!

They had a birthday party for Brian and Benjamin. They were so excited. They totally got spoiled!

Brianna and Madison. Whenever they do get to see eachother it is like they've never been apart. They are so cute together. I love it!

We love 3b's

One thing we have come to love about Pennsylvania is the yummy ice cream. Frozen Yogurt is extremely hard to find in Central PA! What you find is the yummiest, creamiest, fattiest kind! This is taken at a local ice cream shop that we like called 3b's. The kids like to climb on the trees out front while mom eats the ice cream!

Here are some photos of me after the 5k!

5 k

I have been encouraging all of my Weight Watcher members to run a 5k so I thought I better try too! Since the weather has turned I have been running in the wee hours of the morning a few miles a day. On Memorial Day I got up and drove myself to a 5K and RAN! It was so much fun. It took me 33:28 but that's ok...atleast I did it. I did another one a few days ago and made it in 31:47...I am doing one in July with Tamara and Jenna and am hoping I can get it under 30min.

My cute little Ben

Ben is so much fun lately. He is starting to talk and show his personality and we are all just crazy about him (well sometimes...he does drive us crazy). His big thing is to say "NO" to everything. Brian Sr said we really need to put a stop to the no thing...of course I laughed. Easier said than done! The kids like to ask him things like "Are you a boy" and "Do you love mommy?" and laugh when he says "no!"

Bruce Springsteen Concert

On Friday we had a nice little surprise when Dan called Brian and invited us to go with him and Mandy to the Bruce Springsteen concert. Dan was the band Doc and got some extra tickets. Brian was able to get someone to hold the pager for him and we rocked out!!!! The amazing thing was that we were right in the front near all the die hard fans (the crying, screaming, singing every word kind of fans)! There were 30,000 people in attendance. It was my first concert and very fun! Thanks Dan and Mandy! You are the BOMB!

Some pics from our trip to Indiana

A few weeks ago Brian took a week off from work and we went to Jenna's. It was so much fun! On the way there we stopped in Kirtland, Ohio to see some of the church history sites. They were so neat. Jenna, of course, spoiled us rotten so that we will come back soon. To top it all off, my mom flew in for the last few days. Some of the highlights were the zoo, the childrens museum, shopping at goodwill, Jenna's yummy cooking, Brians dvd burnings and constant xbox playing, and sleeping in while Jenna's watching the kids! She is the best...really she is so amazing! THANKS JENNA! Dont worry we will be back!

Indian Echo Caverns

Brianna and I had a fun little field trip on Friday. We went to the Indian Caverns near our house and checked out the cool formations. It was a fun little afternoon with just her and I. She is getting so fun to be around!

April Fool's Day

We had a really fun April Fool's Day. We woke up and made peas (rolled up laffy taffy) and fish sticks (vanilla sugar wafers rolled in peanut butter and cornflakes) and delivered them in these silly outfits to our friends. The kids were laughing all morning. They had so much fun!
