So, this is our new bedding and the leather chairs I got for my Birthday. I need your opinion...Should I leave the walls white and just paint the sitting room? Or I could wallpaper the sitting room in a black and white print... Should I do solid black velvet curtains or patterned? What color should the rug be for under the leather chairs? What do you think? Mom, I am sure you are laughing right now because I was going to do soft and soothing colors but I just can't resist the red and black (like the rest of my house)!

I say.. NO PAINTING!! I think the b&w wallpaper would be AWESOME!! I too LOVE the bedding - it looks amazing!! I think black curtains and red rug of course.. but i am really not good at these things..
I agree with Andrea, I like the sound of the black & white wall paper. It looks like a fun project:)...wish I was there to come help you:)- I love painting & wall paparing!
I must say, I am shocked to hear that YOU need HELP with decorating decisions! And here I thought you were the guru in all things fashion! Well the rest of your house looks fabulous, so I'm sure whatever you do with your bedroom will be fabulous, too!

Now I know when you said you needed help you didn't exactly mean me, so I won't offer any advice given that your better at that stuff them me,I know whatever you do it will look good!! NOw, food advice? I can do that!
Well, I might as well jump in and comment even though we've never met!:) I say sitting room in a funky black/white paper. Keep the rugs neutral and do something fun on the walls. Graham & Brown has some really cool wallpapers (www.grahambrown.com). Curtains all depend on what you do on the walls.

Your house is awesome looking DeAnn! I think you need to make a slide show of every room so we can see it in all it's glory! As far as the decorating is concerned, I hate to wall paper so I stick with paint, but whatever you choose I'm sure it will look fabulous!
At the risk of offering more advice than you need, I was JUST watching hgtv and they said the new thing is to wallpaper one wall only. The focal point wall. The one with the window. I was intrigued but I have no rooms with inset areas to do it on...though I loved their examples.
