Our 10 Year Anniversary Weekend

Last weekend we had such a great time taking a few days away from the kids, house, work stress, laundry....and celebrated 10years together! Wow, this makes me feel so old! It was so great because Brian planned the whole thing. He led me to believe we were going to NYC. On Thursday morning we started heading toward NY but he got off at the Hershey exit. He had surprised me with a day at the Chocolate Spa and a night at the Hershey Hotel. I had told him a few months earlier that when we were done with residency I wanted to stay at this hotel and go to the spa. So I was very surprised, everything was so amazing! We started off with a tour of the spa, then the lady told me that I had a cocoa bath scheduled. YUM, it was the most amazing tub which had the water shooting down your shoulders, really great jets, and chocolate, chocolate, chocolate! The bath was followed by a couples massage. It was cute because as we were hanging out in the spa Brian was so uncomfortable because the robe didn't fit him too well. I wish I had a camera for that one! The spa was so relaxing. That night we ate in the Circular Dining Room which is a five star restaurant which everyone raves about! The food was so great, they even served chocolate butter (see above picture). In the morning we went to Yoga (I know...wasn't Brian sweet) and hung out at the pool. The next night we went to a charming Bed and Breakfasat where we had our own little cottage! Too bad the weekend had to end! I am so grateful for such an awesome husband who has always been kind, loving, soft-spoken, and accepting to me! He is so gentle and caring and has surpassed all my expectations. He promised me when he asked me to marry him that he would always try to make me happy. He truly has done that. He always does whatever he can to make me happy. And THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to my dear friend Lauren. She truly is a saint for taking care of my kids, in addition to her two! Lauren, you are such a great friend and blessing to me, don't move!

Oh, I'm glad your anniversary went so well. Brian did a really good job, I'm very impressed, especially to come up with all that stuff on his own. Good Job Brian!
