We are so excited for a little break from the Orthopedic Surgery world for the next few days. Brian took two vacation days on Thursday and Friday and then to top it off he was able to somehow sneak out of there at noon today so he is calling it 41/2 days! Hooray! We had a great day today. We went to El Rodeo for lunch. This is our PENNSYLVANIA favorite Mexican Restaurant. Then we went to the mall because I had to return something I had bought for my room and of course he always finds something he needs! He bought some new Basketball shoes. It was funny though because I was adding up his shoe purchases this year and they added up to $550 (way more than my shoe purchases for the year)! The man loves to shop! Anyway, then later tonight we went to get the kids pictures taken. It was their first "real" photo all together. It turned out really cute. So, I am excited because it's just fun, fun, fun for the next two weeks because he goes back to work on Monday and that is the day I leave for Arizona!

That's so funny. Dan was complaining all night because he spent $30 today on a new pair of basketball shoes (he's had the same pair for 7 years and they are NASTY). So, his shoe total for this year is......$30. I gave up taking him shopping because we'll go through every store and he'll see things he likes but he just doesn't want to spend money on it. Arrr!
p.s. To Brian from Dan, "$550 in shoes isn't going to help that girlish shot of yours."
