We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It was another one without family but it was still really nice. We had the Heastons over for dinner and then the Sumko's joined us for dessert. We had amazing food (thanks to Betty and Martha-haha)! My friend Mandy is an amazing cook and brought a ton of the food so it was actually pretty relaxing. The morning of Thanksgiving I went to the gym and then we went and watched Brian play football for a few hours. Brian was a huge help this year, which was really nice. Dessert is always my favorite part and we seriously had like 7 pies for 6 adults...mmmm...mmmm.mmmm! Now I am back to counting points again! Oh and I have to tell you I went shopping with Jen at MIDNIGHT on Thanksgiving until 2am! It was crazy fun!

Thanksgiving
INDIANA
Oh my goodness we had the best time visiting Jenna. I totally didn't want to leave. It was funny because as we were driving away Brianna asked why I always cry when I leave my family. I explained to her how I just love them so much and I hope she feels the same way about us when she is grown up. Anyway, Jenna was such an amazing host! We were totally pampered the whole time. The kids loved being there. Brian jr cried when we left and said "but I want to live here." Some of the highlights of the trip were finding amazing deals at Hobby Lobby (90% off-Jenna and I were literally fighting over stuff--I have a bruise on my arm from her), eating at Bajio twice, painting our nails, Brianna's slumber party with Maddy, hair cuts and color (hooray for that), Jenna's super yummy gourmet cooking, Cracker Barrel with Dad, Nordstrom, Matt going to the store to buy earplugs, and Christmas for the kids with Opa and Grandma. I had to drive home by myself with three kids but it was totally worth it. The kids were really good and despite the crazy snow storm I drove through all was well! Thanks to all my friends who chatted with me on the phone and the earplugs Matt gave me the trip went by really fast.
Happy 9th Birthday Brianna!
Brianna celebrated her Birthday on November 18th. We had a great day and she was totally spoiled! It was especially fun because Grandma was here from AZ! We went out to lunch with Brian to El Rodeo where they sang to her (they are horrible singers but very good cooks) and then we went to the movies to see High School Musical 3 and then a bunch of her friends came over for a tea party! Brian was supposed to be on call that night but was able to get it switched so that he could be there for her little party. I can't believe I have a 9 year old!
My Little Brian
Oh this little boy is sooooo yummy lately. He has calmed down quite a bit recently and I am able to enjoy him so much. I love how affectionate he is. He is always hugging me, kissing me and scratching my back. His latest thing is to crawl in bed with us and he is very quiet about it so we can't send him back to his room but in the wee hours of the morning he'll cuddle with me and say "can I give you a kiss?" or "can I scratch your back?" So sweet!
