We are ditchers!

Shortly after school started we ditched for a week (another perk to Private school is that we can actually go on vacation without being put in jail). It was the first week Brian had off in almost a year. We went to the Outer Banks of North Carolina with Bart and Randi and two of their friends. It was great. We had a big huge beach house and with 13 kids we needed it. We built awesome sand castles, ran on the beach every morning, took naps, played volleyball, played games after kids were asleep, went 4 wheeling on the beach and got stuck a few times (which the men loved, really they did), played wii and rock band, perfectified our tans, went crab fishing, shopped, had wonderful meals, took family bike rides, swam in the pool and soaked in the hot tub. It really was a memorable week.

This post shows how very behind I am on my posts but one of these days I'll get caught up. This year Brianna started 5th grade and Brian 1st grade. They both go to Hershey Christian School. I LOVE their school. It is amazing and worth every penny we have to spend on it. They have wonderful teachers and wonderful friends. They come home telling me Bible stories (better than I know them) and teach me the values (like love, respect, honesty,kindness, generosity) they are learning in addition to what we teach them. They also pray all through out the day. The teachers are allowed to hug them and love them. They are able to freely talk about God's hand in history, science, everything, I feel so blessed to have found this school. This was Brianna's fourth school in four years so it was time for something to work out.

My cRaZy husband!

Can I just tell you I LOVE THIS man! He totally drives me crazy and reminds me of our six year old son (hyper) but I love how he always makes me laugh! He is so perfect for me in all my uptightness. He forces me to relax and take it easy. This particular day we were fighting about a decoration I wanted to use that he hated! He won this one, darn it.

Jenna and her wild streak. She kind of looks like a teenage mom (she is going to kill me for saying that). Uncle Matt is SOOOO fun! He takes the kids fishing and builds them forts and THEY LOVE HIM FOR IT!

Benjamin Wedding to Evanie

So Ben and Evanie have been in love, well, for their whole lives! They have seriously always had the cutest connection. Even when they were 6 months old we would catch them cuddling, or kissing. At one they would totter around the house and hold hands and even feed each other. Evanie moved to Florida and probably has already found another man. Before they moved all of the kids decided they needed to get married. It was the cutest thing. I was watching the whole thing unfold as I made dinner. Bryce was the person who married them, he had the lingo down and everything. Brianna played their first dance song on the piano while they danced. As you can see in this photo when Bryce said you may kiss the bride, Evanie went for it!

Benjamin's Third Birthday

Oh my goodness I love this little boy. He is so sweet, happy and just all around good. I'm really enjoying my time with just him and I all day while the other two are in school. He got a big boy bike for his special day! He was so excited. He is really into being big!
