Sunday

This is me teasing Brian because he never smiles in pictures.

SEE???
Such a little poser!

She is such a good girl!

SO handsome!

Our cute little family! I came downstairs from getting ready for church on Sunday and our kids looked so darn cute sitting there eating cereal. It made us late but I had to get pics of them. These kids are SOOO much work but SOOO worth it! They are so much fun and make my life so worth living. I am trying to be a better mom lately. I am trying to be more consistent and strict so that they learn self control and hopefully turn out to be decent people. It is so stressful bringing kids into this crazy world where there is so much ugliness. I am so thankful for the gospel and for the guidance we have.

ARIZONA!

Bart, me and Tamara are all addicted to qtips! Sweet Randi took the picture and thinks we are all crazy!
Brianna playing at the park with cousins! They were teaching her how to heeley!

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa--they are so sweet!

Swinging at Mom's park while it is a snow day in PA! Hooray!

The kids just before a bike ride. My Dad bought them bikes so that they have some when we come to visit!
We had such a fabulous time in Arizona. It was a trip that was not planned and that was the best part. Basically my Mom said she would pay for one of our tickets since she was supposed to visit me in March but it wasn't going to work out. I got online and they were like $800 round trip for all of us and I said what the heck! Brian was working 12 days straight and I got flights leaving the day he started the 12 days in a row and returning the day he ended it. It had been 9 months so we were really missing everyone. It was so fun! I did get just a teensy bit sick (haha) and ended up in the ER one night but other than that it couldn't have been better. The weather was PERFECTO! Thanks Mom and Dad for everything! Thanks Tam for watching my kids a few times a giving me a break!

The Pennsylvania Farm Show

She makes me look like a short little lady.
Allysa, Mikey and Jen.

Brianna and I-these are the best homeschooling days-for sure!

The cute little piggies nursing. Oh man I felt bad for the mommy pig!

I love going to the Farm Show. Mostly because I love food and is different than what I am used to! Jen and I ventured out into the cold the other day (it was around 10 degrees) while Brian was at pre-school and took the kiddos. We had a great time and thanks to Jen's aggressiveness with getting back on the shuttle bus we made it in time to pick Brian up at pre-school-phew!

Brianna's First Cheesecake

This little girl is quite the cook and I am being serious. The other day she made a cheesecake totally by herself. She loved it when I told her I had never even made a cheesecake. It was delicious. She was watching and infomercial on the magic bullet and she is very into commercials (she always believes exactly what they say). Anyway, she wanted to try it with ours and it was fabulous!

Brianna is cute!

So, a few weeks ago I was cooking in the kitchen and I heard Bryan Adams playing in the basement. I went down to see what was going on and Brianna (who was sort of embarrased) said " mom we are on a date and we need you to serve us." It was so cute! Little Brian was just going along with it. She had all the lights turned off and even a tablecloth on the little table. She is soooo funny!

Hello Cupcake!

Brianna and I really enjoy cooking these days. The other day we made these cute "sleepover cupcakes."

A Sabbath Day in New York

Rockefeller Center and the amazing Christmas tree.
Ben being naughty in the New York City Public Library. It was amazing. The thing we really enjoyed were nice and clean bathrooms.

Can you believe they are even in there church clothes???

We enjoyed watching people ice skate. To be truthful we enjoyed watching people fall. Brian got nervous and we had to leave. He didn't want to deal with any broken bones on his day off.
Everyone know I am not one to keep secrets! So, a few weeks ago Brian and I wanted to take the kids to NY for a day to see NY at Christmastime. We looked into it and it was too cold all the days around Christmas. Anyway, the Sunday after Christmas we got up and got ready for church and started talking about how we didn't get to go to NY and Brian was going back to work the next day. We were sad. I like to be spontaneous so I said, "hey, lets go right now." We went downstairs and low and behold it was a amazing 60 degrees. OK so I know what all of you CA and AZ people are thinking. Big deal! But when it is normally 20 or 30 that really is amazing. We thought the Lord would understand. We listened to church music and only let the kids watch church DVD's and had a wonderful day as a family.
